The much-awaited result of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) 2025 for Level 1 and Level 2 will be declared today, May 8, at 3:15 pm by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE). Candidates who appeared for the exam can access their results through the official websites—rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and reet2024.co.in.
Conducted on February 27 and 28 in three shifts, the REET 2025 saw an overwhelming participation of 14,29,822 candidates. The exam serves as a crucial benchmark for selecting eligible candidates for teaching posts in Rajasthan’s government schools. Level 1 of the exam qualifies candidates to teach classes 1 to 5, while Level 2 is for classes 6 to 8.
According to the RBSE, both Level 1 and Level 2 results will be released simultaneously. To check their result, candidates will need to enter their roll number on the official portal.
In terms of qualifying criteria, general category candidates from NON-TSP and TSP areas must score a minimum of 60 percent to pass. SC candidates from NON-TSP areas require 55 percent, while those from TSP regions need only 36 percent. Similarly, candidates from SC, OBC, MBC, and EWS categories also need 55 percent marks. Widows, abandoned women from all categories, ex-servicemen, and Divyangjan candidates must secure at least 40 percent, while Saharia tribe candidates require 36 percent to qualify.
Following the result, eligible candidates will be issued the REET certificate by RBSE. This certificate, which was previously valid for three years, is now valid for a lifetime, allowing qualified individuals to apply for teaching posts in the future without reappearing for the exam.
