South Central Railway (SCR) has commenced the online application process for the recruitment of more than 4103 apprentice posts. All the Interested & Eligible Candidates with relevant qualification can apply on the official website.
The SCR recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total number of 4103 vacancies, in which 250 vacancies are for the post of AC Mechanic, 18 are for the Carpenter, 531 are for Diesel Mechanic, 1019 are for Electrician, 92 are for Electronic Mechanic, 1460 are for Fitter, 71 are for Machinist, 5 for the MMTM, 24 for the MMW, 80 for Painter, and 553 for the Welder.
Eligibility Criteria for Railway Job
The Age Limit for the applicants should have attained the age of 15 years & should not have completed 24 years of age as on October 4, 2021. The Upper age relaxation applicable to the candidates from reserved category.
Educational Qualification
The candidates must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 exam system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from recognized board and also possess ITI Certificate in the trade notified from the institutes recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
Application Fee
The application fee of Rs 100 is applicable to all the candidates for SCR recruitment, except SC/ST/PWBD/Female candidates.
Selection Process for Railway Recruitment 2021
The applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list, which would be prepared by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by candidates in both 10th & ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
