The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is set to host the Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela from February 22 to 24, 2025, at its campus in New Delhi. The theme of the year is 'Unnat Krishi- Viksit Bharat.' More than 1 lakh farmers, entrepreneurs, state officials, students, and other stakeholders from different parts of the country participate in this fair every year.

Why Attend Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela 2025?

  • Innovative Agricultural Solutions

  • Farmers Innovations

  • Innovative Startup Stalls

  • Hands-on Demonstrations

  • Networking Opportunities and much more

IARI is inviting applications for stall participation, focusing on live crop demonstrations, protected cultivation of flowers and vegetables, vertical farming, soil and water testing, and more. In recognition of innovative contributions to agriculture, IARI annually honors approximately 25-30 outstanding farmers with the "IARI Innovative Farmer" and "IARI Fellow Farmer" awards during the fair. The application process for these awards, which closed on January 25, required submissions to be endorsed by a competent recommending authority, such as directors of ICAR institutes, vice-chancellors or extension directors of state agricultural universities, or directors of state agriculture departments.

The Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela serves as a significant platform for stakeholders in the agricultural sector to exchange knowledge, explore innovations, and discuss advancements that contribute to the development of agriculture in India. Participants are encouraged to engage actively in the event to maximize the benefits of the diverse opportunities presented.
