Pusa Krishi, the agri-innovation and incubation arm of the ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), has been conferred with the prestigious Bharat Incubator Award 2025 by the Entrepreneurs Association of India. The award was presented during the 4th Bharat Entrepreneurship Summit, held at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi on 13 September 2025.
Dr. Akriti Sharma, CEO of Pusa Krishi, ICAR-IARI, received the award on behalf of the organization. The accolade recognizes Pusa Krishi’s outstanding contribution to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in the agricultural sector. Dr. Akriti said the recognition is an encouragement to continue driving impactful change in the agri-startup ecosystem.
Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director of IARI, congratulated the Pusa Krishi team on receiving the award and thanked the Entrepreneurs Association of India for recognizing their sustained efforts in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture.
