The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the final exam results for Class 5. On the official website, pseb.ac.in, a direct link to view and download mark sheets and cumulative results is now available.
The Board administered the written tests between February 24 and March 4, 2023.
In a press conference, Dr. Virinder Bhatia, vice chairman of the board, officially announced the outcome.
Parents and students are urged to keep the admit cards close at hand since the information on them will be needed to access scorecards. Several un-authorized websites may also host Punjab board results in addition to the official website. To ensure validity, students are recommended to only check their results using links on the official website.
PSEB Class 5th Result 2023: Passing Rate
The overall pass rate for this year is 99.69%, a slight improvement above the 99.62% for last year. Females performed better than boys, with a 99.74 percent overall pass rate for girls and a 99.65 percent overall pass rate for boys. The transgender pupils, on the other hand, did exceptionally well on the exam. Ten transgender kids in total took the examinations, and they all did well.
According to PSEB, a make-up exam would be held in two months for the 355 girls and 545 boys who failed the Class 5 or Primary exam.

With a pass rate of 99.86%, Barnala and Tarn Taran districts had the largest number of pupils who successfully completed the Class 5 exams this year.

In the Class 5 final exam, Jaspreet Kaur and Navdeep Kaur from the Government Primary School Ralla Kothe in Mansa and Gurnoor Singh Dhaliwal from the Shri Hargobind Sahib Senior Secondary School in the village of Bhana in the Faridkot district each received a perfect grade.
