Sikar district of Rajasthan is gearing up for a momentous occasion as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a public gathering on July 27, as per party sources. The highlight of the event will be the transfer of payments under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme directly into the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries.
Ahead of the much-anticipated visit, BJP state president C P Joshi and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary convened a preparatory meeting in Sikar on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Kailash Chaudhary announced that Prime Minister Modi will personally oversee the release of the 14th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, benefitting thousands of farmers in the region. The scheme, launched by the Government of India, is designed to provide a minimum income support of up to Rs 6,000 per year to farmers and was introduced in the 2019 Interim Union Budget.
Among those present at the preparatory meeting were prominent BJP leaders, including Sikar MP Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati and Jhunjhunu MP Narendra Khichad. The meeting was also attended by various state office bearers, district officials, and dedicated party workers, all coming together to ensure the success of the upcoming event.
Addressing the gathering, C P Joshi emphasized the importance of making all-out efforts to make the prime minister's visit and the subsequent transfer of financial assistance to farmers a resounding success. The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme has been instrumental in providing much-needed support to farmers across the nation, and its impact has been widely acknowledged.
By directly transferring funds to the bank accounts of beneficiaries, the government aims to alleviate the financial burden on farmers and enable them to invest in agricultural activities and improve their livelihoods.
With Prime Minister Modi's presence and the delivery of financial assistance, the upcoming public meeting is expected to invigorate the farming community in Sikar and reinforce the government's commitment to the welfare of farmers.
As the nation eagerly awaits this important event, security and arrangements are being meticulously planned to ensure a smooth and successful visit of the Prime Minister to Sikar. The government is leaving no stone unturned to make this occasion memorable for both the beneficiaries of the scheme and the residents of Sikar who will have the opportunity to witness their leader addressing them directly.
