PMFAI- ICSCE: Day 2 of 16th International Crop-Science Conference & Exhibition

Over 4,000 companies from 120 countries, as well as a slew of industry leaders and the world's best chefs, charted the course for an industry in transition. In addition to thousands of visitors, Krishi Jagran team visited many stalls and interacted with numerous industry leaders looking to place orders for the most innovative and cutting-edge products, while exhibitors sought to attract customers looking to fill their order books.

Pesticides Manufacturers & Formulators Association of India (PMFAI) is hosting the 16th International Crop-Science Conference & Exhibition, India’s Biggest Agri Inputs Trade Summit in Dubai-UAE from 14-15 February 2022.

It must be noted that the Krishi Jagran team is currently in Dubai covering the two-day event. Over 4,000 companies from 120 countries, as well as a slew of industry leaders and the world's best chefs, charted the course for an industry in transition. In addition to thousands of visitors, Krishi Jagran team visited many stalls and interacted with numerous industry leaders looking to place orders for the most innovative and cutting-edge products, while exhibitors sought to attract customers looking to fill their order books.

The first day saw a large turnout of renowned agrochemical companies, distributors, researchers, government officials, and so on. Several eminent industry figures delivered guest speeches, lectures, and presentations during the first half of the programme. The first session was followed by the 3rd PMFAI-SML Annual Agchem Awards, which were sponsored by Sulphur Mills Ltd.

Today's discussion centered on the following topics:

Ajay Joshi, Senior Consultant, Chemicals, Materials & Nutrition, Frost & Sullivan, South Asia, delivered a speech on ‘Impact of New Chinese Energy Policy on Agrochemicals Market’

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Bob Fairclough, Principal Consultant, Kynetec Germany spoke on ‘Global Crop Protection Market Trends – Post pandemic recovery and future drivers including the impact of supply challenges from China.

Speech on ‘Naturally Derived Adjuvants for Effective Drone Application’ given by Shrikant Aherkar, Lead Scientist –Stepan Agricultural Solutions, Singapore

In addition, Lawrance Middler, Senior Analyst, IHS Markit gave a talk titled ‘Agrochemical Products Coming Off-Patent in the Next Ten Years’.
