Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to unveil projects valued at more than Rs 8,000 crore in Telangana on Monday, in anticipation of the upcoming state elections later this year. These initiatives span a range of sectors, including railways and thermal power plants.
In line with the Prime Minister's vision for increased power generation and energy efficiency, the ceremony will mark the dedication of Telangana Super Thermal Power Project's 800 MW Phase 1, delivering cost-effective electricity and promoting economic growth while upholding environmental standards.
PM Modi Launched Development Project of Rs 13,500 Crore in Telangana
PM Modi previously launched extensive development projects worth over Rs 13,500 crore in Telangana, spanning road infrastructure, railways, petroleum, higher education, and more. He inaugurated significant railway projects, including a new rail line connecting Manoharabad and Siddipet, electrification projects, and a new train service, fostering socio-economic growth and eco-friendly rail transport.
Additionally, Modi will dedicate NMDC's steel plant in Nagarnar, Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, to the nation on Monday. He will also lay foundation stones and inaugurate several rail projects in the state.
