PM Modi, Amit Shah to Address BJP’s Kisan Morcha to be held in Gorakhpur

The two-day national convention of BJP Kisan Morcha will be inaugurated by party chief Amit Shah on 23rd February in Gorakhpur. Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister will preside over the valedictory function on 24th February.

The two-day national convention of BJP Kisan Morcha will be inaugurated by party chief Amit Shah on 23rd February in Gorakhpur. Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister will preside over the valedictory function on 24th February.

Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi will address the farmers' rally on 24th February 2019.

Rahul Srivastav, BJP City President said covering 11 Lok Sabha seats of Gorakhpur division, the rally will be addressed by Amit Shah in presence of Rajnath Singh and Radha Mohan Singh Agriculture minister.

Prime Minister will also inaugurate 7 finished projects that includes OPD of Ayush wing of under-construction AIIMS. PM Modi on 22nd July 2016 had laid the foundation stone of two important projects - AIIMS and a fertiliser factory in Gorakhpur.

Although construction is going on in AIIMS, the OPD of Ayush division is set to be operational after the inauguration by Prime Minister.

Regarding this, recruitment of 11 doctors and other staff has already been done last year in the month of December.  Moreover, the authorities of Jodhpur AIIMS have been given the task to operate it on temporary basis.

Indian PM will also inaugurate a super specialty hospital building at the BRD medical college with Rs. 69.87 crores, 100 bed girls hostel with 11.85 crores, 50 bed hostel at BRD with Rs. 10.77 crores, prisoner barracks for 200 prisoners costing Rs. 7.68 crores, Munderwa Sugar mill with 410 crores and Pipriach Sugar mill with 386.73 crores.

Not only this, Modi will lay the foundation stone of 8 projects that includes Rs. 4,816 crore Gorakhpur-Azamgarh link expressway and Rs. 3,100 crores Kandla-Gorakhpur LPG Gas line.

In a statement issued on 20th February, Virendra Singh Mast, president of Kisan Morcha said that more than 8,000 people are likely to attend the event.

He said Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath along with Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and state BJP head Mahendra Nath Pandey are also expected to take part in the gathering.
