PM Modi Addresses Rozgar Mela; Highlights Employment, Security Improvements in UP

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, addressed the Rozgar Mela of the Uttar Pradesh Government through a video message, where appointment letters were provided to direct recruits for various posts in the police force and fire department.

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, addressed the Rozgar Mela of the Uttar Pradesh Government via a video message. This Mela was an occasion to provide appointment letters to direct recruits for Sub Inspectors in UP Police and equivalent posts in Nagrik Police, Platoon Commanders, and Fire Department Second Officers.

In his address, the Prime Minister expressed his happiness that he is getting an opportunity to address a Rozgar Mela almost every week in BJP-ruled states. He mentioned that this is bringing much-talented youth who bring new thinking and efficiency to the government system. The Prime Minister highlighted the special importance of the UP Rozgar Mela, which will bring happiness to 9 thousand of families and enhance the sense of security in Uttar Pradesh. The new recruitments will strengthen the Police force in the state.

The Prime Minister mentioned that since 2017, more than 1.5 lakh new appointments have been made in UP Police under the present dispensation. This has improved both employment and security in the state. Modi emphasized that Uttar Pradesh is recognized for its law and order and development orientation, which has led to new opportunities for employment, business, and investment.

He cited the efforts of the double-engine government in developing new airports, dedicated freight corridors, new defense corridors, mobile manufacturing units, modern waterways, infrastructure, expressways, highways, and tourism. These efforts are creating employment and paving the way for more projects in the state. Modi noted the enthusiastic response at the recent Global Investor Summit and how that will push employment in the state.

The Prime Minister talked about the new challenges and responsibilities for the new appointees and asked them to keep the learner alive in them. He emphasized the need for the new recruits to work on their personality development, progress, and knowledge. The Prime Minister stressed that the new recruits will have the responsibility of both security and giving direction to society. “You can be a reflection of both service and strength for the people”, the Prime Minister concluded.

Modi dwelled on the training required to improve sensitivity in the police force. He highlighted modern areas like cyber crimes and forensic science to promote smart policing. The Prime Minister emphasized that new recruits will have the responsibility of both security and giving direction to society. The Prime Minister urged the new recruits to keep learning and keep working toward their personality development, progress, and knowledge.
