The national government is running the PM Krishi Sinchayee Yojana for the benefit of the country's farmers. Subsidies on irrigation equipment are offered to farmers through this program, ensuring that farmers experience no difficulties in their agricultural irrigation operations.
The primary goal of this project is to make irrigation equipment affordable for farmers.
Furthermore, applications from state farmers are being accepted under this initiative in Uttar Pradesh. With the Kharif season approaching, the state government is subsidizing irrigation equipment for farmers.
Farmers that apply under this plan are eligible for a subsidy on the purchase of irrigation equipment.
The Uttar Pradesh Council of Ministers has authorized additional states for the Drop More Crop (Micro Irrigation) initiative, which is part of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, for five years spanning the fiscal years 2022-23 to 2026-27.
