A government scheme called the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana aims to raise the standard of living of Indian farmers. A set sum is deposited into the bank accounts of qualified farmers as part of this scheme.
Farmers who have completed the required KYC (Know Your Customer) verification are scheduled to receive the 14th instalment of the plan in their respective bank accounts.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in 2019. Under the scheme, farmers will receive Rs. 6,000 per year, which is deposited in their bank accounts in three monthly instalments. Farmers who have finished their KYC verification will receive the 14th instalment, worth Rs. 4,000, in their bank accounts.
Also, due to the lack of KYC verification, some farmers did not receive the previous instalment. However, those farmers who have completed their KYC verification procedure will receive not only the 14th instalment but also the previous instalment that they missed.
After four months, another instalment worth Rs. 2,000 will be sent to the farmers' bank accounts.
Farmers who have not got their KYC verification done yet are advised to do it right now as they won't be getting the 14th payment if they don't fulfil these criteria. To see if a farmer's name is on the list of eligible recipients, visit the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana website.
