PM Kisan Beneficiaries Alert! If You Have This Done Then You May be in Problem

If you have taken the amount of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi installment wrongly then beware! The government has started the process of recovery of the amount from such people. Complete information inside.

Here is important news for PM Kisan beneficiaries. As we know that Government provides Rs. 6000 to the farmers in three instalments of Rs. 2000 each under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. If you have taken PM Kisan instalment by giving wrong details then there is bad news for you as the Centre has started the process of recovery of the amount from such people in Uttar Pradesh.  

Government has started Issuing Notices  

As per available information, the UP government has started this process of amount recovery from the defaulters and has already sent a list of 9219 ineligible farmers to the State Agriculture Department. And the department has sent notices to these ineligible farmers. It has asked them to return back the money as soon as possible.

These frauds mostly include the cases of husband & wife, deceased farmers, taxpayers, pensioners, fund transfers in the wrong account, wrong Aadhar, etc. 

Money Must be Deposited Immediately

The ineligible farmers will have to deposit the money in the office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture, Uttar Pradesh.

And they will be given the receipt after depositing the amount. Later, this amount will be sent to the government. Not only this, the department will remove the names and farmer data from the PM Kisan portal.  

Who are Fake Beneficiaries? 

Out of the ineligible beneficiaries, many (3,86,000) are with the wrong accounts and fake Aadhar. And many (2, 34,010) are tax-paying farmers. The list also includes beneficiaries who are no more in this world (32,300).

Union Agriculture Minister Revealed this Information 

Overall, there are more than 42 lakh ineligible beneficiaries who are taking benefit of the PM Kisan scheme and have duped the government of Rs. 2,900 crore. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar revealed this information while answering a question in Parliament.
