PM Kisan 20th Instalment 2025: Central government is all set to release the 20th Instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana soon. If you are a registered farmer under the scheme, you may receive Rs 2,000 in your bank account by June 2025. But to make sure you get the money, you need to complete a few important steps before the deadline. Here’s everything you need to know.

When Will the 20th Instalment Come?

According to past patterns and reports, the 20th Instalment is expected to be credited to farmers' accounts in June 2025. The previous (19th) Instalment was released on February 24, 2025, and over 9 crore farmers received the benefit.

The PM Kisan Yojana gives Rs 6,000 per year to eligible farmers in three equal Instalments of Rs 2,000 each. The money is directly transferred to their bank accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

PM Kisan 20th Instalment 2025: Complete These 3 Things First

If you haven’t completed the following steps, your name might be left out of the next beneficiary list:

1. e-KYC is Mandatory

To receive the money under PM Kisan, it is now mandatory for all farmers to complete their e-KYC. This can be done online through the official PM Kisan website – pmkisan.gov.in – or offline at the nearest CSC (Common Service Centre) with biometric verification. If e-KYC is not done, your name may be removed from the beneficiary list.

2. Link Aadhaar with Bank Account

Ensure that your Aadhaar number is linked to your bank account. If the Aadhaar-bank linking is not complete, the government will not be able to credit the Rs 2,000 Instalment  to your account. You can visit your bank branch or nearest CSC to check and complete the process.

3. Verify Your Land Records

Your land ownership records must be updated in your state’s revenue department. If there is any mismatch in land records or your name is not verified, your application may be rejected or put on hold. Make sure your land documents are accurate and updated with the local tehsildar or revenue office.

How to Check Your Name in PM Kisan Beneficiary List

To check whether you’ll get the 20th Instalment, follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit the official PM Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in

  2. Go to the “Farmers Corner” section on the homepage.

  3. Click on “Beneficiary Status.”

  4. Enter your registered Aadhaar number, bank account number, or mobile number.

  5. Click “Get Data” to see your current status.

This will show whether your name is included in the next Instalment  or if any action is pending.

Common Reasons for Non-Payment

Here are the top reasons why some farmers don’t receive the Instalment :

  • e-KYC not completed

  • Aadhaar not linked to the bank account

  • Wrong or inactive bank account details

  • Land records not updated

  • Duplicate applications or errors in details

Fix these issues immediately to avoid payment delays.

PM Kisan Special Drive 2025

The government has launched a special drive from May 1 to May 31, 2025, to identify eligible farmers who have not registered yet. If you or someone in your family is eligible but has not received any PM Kisan payment yet, this is the best time to apply and verify details. Visit your local CSC or block office to register under the scheme.

The PM Kisan scheme provides crucial support to small and marginal farmers. If you have received earlier Instalment s under this scheme, it is important to ensure that all your details are up to date to continue receiving the benefits without any interruption.

Make sure to complete your e-KYC, link your Aadhaar number with your bank account, and verify your land records with the local revenue authorities. Farmers are also advised to stay informed and updated by regularly visiting the official website: pmkisan.gov.in.
