PM-KISAN 20th Installment 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on February 24, 2025, benefiting over 9.8 crore farmers across India with financial assistance exceeding Rs 22,000 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Now, farmers eagerly await the 20th installment, which is expected to be disbursed in June 2025.

However, to ensure a smooth transfer of funds, it is crucial for beneficiaries to complete their e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) process on time.

Why is e-KYC Important for PM-KISAN 20th Installment 2025

e-KYC is a mandatory process to verify the identity of farmers and prevent fraudulent claims. Without completing e-KYC, your name may be removed from the beneficiary list, and you could miss out on the Rs 2,000 installment. Many farmers have faced payment failures in the past due to incomplete e-KYC, so it is important to complete it on time.

How to Complete PM-KISAN e-KYC Online?

Completing e-KYC for PM-KISAN is simple and can be done from the comfort of your home. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Official Website – Go to pmkisan.gov.in

  2. Click on e-KYC – Find the ‘e-KYC’ option under the ‘Farmers Corner’ section.

  3. Enter Aadhaar Number – Provide your Aadhaar details and click on ‘Search.’

  4. Verify with OTP – If your Aadhaar is linked to your mobile number, enter the OTP received and complete the process.

Alternative Methods to Complete e-KYC

For farmers who do not have a mobile number linked to Aadhaar, there are other ways to complete the e-KYC process. One option is biometric authentication, which can be done at any of the four lakh Common Service Centres (CSC) or State Seva Kendras (SSK) across the country. This method ensures secure verification and requires a nominal fee of Rs 15 for the service.

Another convenient alternative is face authentication using a smartphone. This method allows farmers to verify their identity without requiring an OTP or biometric scan, making the process faster and more accessible.

To avoid any delays in receiving the PM kisan 20th installment, farmers are advised to complete their e-KYC as soon as possible and ensure uninterrupted financial assistance.

The government has made it clear that only those who complete e-KYC will receive the 20th installment. To avoid last-minute hassles, complete your e-KYC today and secure your benefits under the PM-KISAN scheme.
