Good news for farmers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 13th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Belagavi, Karnataka on Monday, February 27. As per reports PM Modi will disburse approximately Rs 16000 crore to beneficiaries of PM Kisan scheme.
The last or 12th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi was released on October 17 2022 by PM Modi in New Delhi. The fund benefitted more than 80 million farmers in India.
In the parliament budget session, Narendra Singh Tomar Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare said that the number of beneficiaries under the scheme has increased from 316 crore in 2019 to 1045 crore in 2022 .
The government made it compulsory for the farmers to update their e-KYC in order to continue availing the benefit of PM Kisan. It said that those who fail to do so will not get the 13th installment.
Hence farmers must check updated beneficiary list and beneficiary status to know if they will get Rs. 2000 or not. Here’s the process;
How to check PM Kisan beneficiary list 2023
Go to official PM KISAN website
Look for farmers corner section on the homepage
Click on Beneficiary List option
Then pick your respective state, district, Sub-District & village.
Click on Get Report
The list will appear on the screen
How to check PM Kisan Beneficiary status
Again go to the PM Kisan's official website
On the homepage, click on 'Beneficiary status' tab
A new page will open, here either enter your Mobile Number, Registration Number.
Write the captcha code and click on get data.
The details will open on the screen
Now see if the amount has been credited to your account or not
Under PM Kisan scheme, the Centre provides financial assistance of Rs. 6000 per year in three equal installments of Rs.2000 each. The money is credited directly in to their accounts.
