Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala, along with several other dignitaries, initiated the 'Run for Unity' event at Krishi Bhawan to commemorate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) and honor Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 148th birth anniversary. The event aimed to pay tribute to the enduring values of unity, integrity, and patriotism espoused by the Iron Man of India.

The event witnessed the participation of esteemed guests, including Minister of States for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, and Dr. L. Murugan. The presence of these dignitaries underscored the significance of the occasion and the shared commitment to upholding the principles that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel stood for.

Parshottam Rupala, in his address during the event, spoke passionately about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's immense contributions to the nation's unity and the dairy cooperative sector. He emphasized that Patel's legacy would continue to inspire generations, serving as a constant reminder of the values that bind our diverse nation.

Over 150 officials from the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, led by Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Alka Upadhyaya, and Secretary, Department of Fisheries, Dr. Abhilaksh Likhi, joined the 'Run for Unity.' The enthusiastic participants embarked on a symbolic run from Krishi Bhawan, making their way to Hyderabad House via Rajendra Prasad Road and Asoka Road.

Before commencing the run, all participants took the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge, affirming their commitment to safeguard the unity, integrity, and internal security of our beloved nation. This gesture emphasized the importance of upholding the ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and his unwavering belief in the unification of India.

The 'Run for Unity' event, led by Minister Parshottam Rupala and attended by prominent figures in the government, further reinforces our collective dedication to preserving the values that underpin our diverse and vibrant nation. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's legacy remains an enduring source of inspiration for all Indians, urging us to work together for a stronger, more united India.
