On the joyous occasion of Christmas, December 25, Padma Shree Awardee, Rahibai Soma Popere inaugurates Krishi Jagran's “Digital Media Centre”. Previously, Krishi Jagran launched Farmer First, Farmer the Brand, and Farmer the Journalist platforms to amplify the voice of farmers.
Seed Mother- Rahibai Soma Popere is known as the Seed Mother for her work in conserving the indigenous seeds and a member of BAIF Development Research Foundation, a Core Support Group of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), and has been awarded the fourth highest Civilian national Award Padma Shree for her contribution to the agriculture sector.
During her speech, she congratulated the entire Krishi Jagran team for their wonderful work in the field of Agri journalism and wished to get more success in the future. Moreover, many eminent personalities from companies such as Dhanuka Agritech, Somani Seeds, ACSEN HyVeg, Goel Vet Pharma, Accuvance LLP, Krishika, HPM, Hyveg, FMC & FAI attended and shared their views in the inauguration programme.
Recently, Krishi Jagran received an award for its outstanding and leading role in Excellence in Digital Media under Agri Journalism Award (Awareness & Solution-Oriented) category from Union Minister Parshottam Rupala. Shiny Dominic, Director of Krishi Jagran was also present on the occasion.
