Punjab government in its latest move to get away with the paddy straw has opened itself for suggestion and solution with a global million-dollar reward for the “Paddy Straw Management Challenge”. The government has been unable to persuade farmers lately to stop burning of the crop residue which has been one of the major reasons for pollution in the capital, which attracted global attention and concern.
