It must be noted that the trades mentioned and number of seats given are tentative that may change as per need of the work centre. Candidates willing to undergo apprenticeship training with ONGC must apply under a sector, for a particular work center, for a trade @ www.ongcapprentices.ongc.co.in from 27 April 2022 to 15 May 2022.
Age Limit
The minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum 24 years as on 15 May 2022. That is, the Date of Birth of the applicant should be between 15 May 1998 and 15 May 2004.
Selection of ONGC Apprentice
Selections would be done on the basis of marks obtained in the exam and Merit drawn. In case of a similar number in merit, candidate with higher age will be considered. No canvassing or influencing will be acceptable at any time and may render for non-consideration.
ONGC Recruitment 2022: Stipend of Apprentice
The apprentices are eligible for a monthly stipend as per Apprentices Act, during their period of engagement as follows:
Graduate Apprentice - B.A / B.Com / B.Sc / B.B.A – Rs. 9,000/-
Trade Apprentices – 1-year ITI – Rs. 7,700/- and 2-year ITI – Rs. 8,050/-
Diploma Apprentices - Diploma – Rs. 8,000/-
ONGC Recruitment 2022: How To Apply
Candidates who meet the above-mentioned eligibility criteria should visit ONGC website and apply online from 27 April 2022 till 15 May 2022. It must be noted that paper based applications/offline applications will not be accepted.
There are 2 steps for the Registration. Part-I & Part-II. In Part-I registration, the candidate has to fill his or her basic details like name, category etc., and has to create his own password.
After successful Part-I registration, with the e-mail ID, the candidate has to log in again into the system with the password generated by him/her. Applicants are advised to remember the Email and password for future reference/use.
In Part-II registration, applicant has to upload his scanned photograph and furnish educational qualification, experience details etc. and submit the same. This is the final submission process and after that applicant cannot change the details furnished.
