NHAI Internship 2022: Golden Opportunity for Students to Learn & Earn; Apply Before 30 May

The National Highways Authority of India's (NHAI) Trichy project implementation unit (PIU) has requested applications from qualified applicants for internship opportunities in project monitoring and execution. Candidates can apply for the internship before the closing date, which is 30th May 2022.

NHAI Trichy Internship 2022 Details: Duration and Stipend

The internship program is a part of an agreement between the NHAI and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to develop industry-institute partnerships across the country, according to NHAI officials.

The curriculum will take two months to complete. Selected interns would get a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000.

Who Can Apply for the Internship?

The final year and pre-final year civil engineering students who have relevant skills and are available for the duration of two months can apply for internships through the internship-AICTE portal.

The interns will receive certificates upon successful completion of the internship program.

Interns will be introduced to the land acquisition process, project design, and contract management skills through field trips, according to NHAI officials.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) was established as a central authority to develop, maintain, and manage the National Highways entrusted to it by the Indian government.

At its headquarters, the NHAI has technical, financial, administrative, and vigilance wings. At several sites, Project Implementation Units (PIUs) led by a Project Director and backed by various technical and accounts officers have been established to ensure the project's timely completion. The proposed internship is with PIU Dhamtari's project to four-lane the Kodebod Dhamtari sector of NH 30.
