National Health Authority (NHA) has launched a public dashboard for near real-time information on its flagship scheme, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). The ABDM public dashboard provides detailed information on the mission's core registries, which include Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) numbers, Healthcare Professionals Registry (HPR), and Health Facility Registry (HFR).

According to the dashboard, as of May 30th, 2022, the total number of ABHA (previously known as health ID) created is 22.1 crore, over 16.6 thousand healthcare professionals have registered in the HPR, and over 69.4 thousand health facilities have registered in the HFR, over 1.8 lakh health records have already been linked by users, and the recently revamped ABHA app has received over 5.1 lakh downloads.

The ABDM public dashboard is easily accessible to all stakeholders via the ABDM website or directly here: https://dashboard.abdm.gov.in/abdm/. The dashboard collects data on the number of ABHA generated, the number of healthcare professionals registered (doctors, nurses, etc.), and digital health records linked to ABHA.

The dashboard also includes granular information about the number of health facilities, such as hospitals and laboratories, that are registered on a daily basis as well as cumulatively.

In addition, data from ABHA generation created by partners and digital health records linked are made available in real-time on the dashboard. This information is further subdivided into several key components that provide updates on the scheme's progress in various areas.

Dr. R.S. Sharma, CEO of NHA, elaborated on the idea behind the public dashboard, saying, "ABDM is built on the principles of accessibility, transparency, inclusivity, and interoperability." The ABDM public dashboard makes updated information about the scheme available to the public, ensuring that all stakeholders have transparent access to the data. This also provides a clear picture of the progress made by ABDM ecosystem partners because we included data on the number of ABHA created by various partners as well as the number of health records linked platform-wise."

The ABDM public dashboard provides a clear picture of the number of ABHA generated on a national and state/UT level. The figures are further broken down by gender and age. ABHA number generation is also available through a number of popular digital health applications, including CoWIN, PMJAY, Aarogya Setu, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, e-Sushrut Railway Hospital, and others. The ABDM Dashboard also shows the performance of each partner as well as the number of health records linked by each partnering app.

The dashboard for Health Facility Registry displays data in infographics format based on ownership (government or private), medical systems (Modern Medicine - Allopathy, Ayurveda, Sowa- Rigpa, Physiotherapy, Unani, Dentistry, Siddha, Homeopathy, etc.), and state-specific facilities registered under the ABDM. Similarly, for the HPR, the dashboard divides the data by employment type (government or private sector), medical systems, and the states/UTs from which applications were received.

In addition to the detailed information available on the ABDM public dashboard, the main ABDM website (https://abdm.gov.in/) has a section that summarises all of the numbers. Furthermore, the ABDM sandbox portal includes a dashboard section (https://sandbox.abdm.gov.in/applications/Integrators) that provides information about integrators/health tech service providers/apps that have already integrated with ABDM and are registered as ABDM partners.
