TIRUCHIRAPALLI: The district administration has recommended launching a programme to help TNPSC Group II exam candidates.
The initiative, known as Kalankarai Vilakkam, would benefit a huge number of applicants from both urban and rural regions who have applied for the exams, according to Collector T. Prabhu Shankar.
Many of the candidates, according to the Collector, had no experience with how to write competitive tests. If they had relevant study material, they could prepare effectively for the exams.
To aid applicants, it was planned to open study centers in each of the eight panchayat unions. Aspirants for the Karur and Thanthoni unions will gather at the District Central Library.
The Aravakurichi union will be centered at the panchayat union office, whereas the Kulithalai union would be centered at Government College in Ayyarmalai. The Government Teacher Training Institute in Mayanur will be the study center for the Krishnarayapuram union. The candidates were given room to study at the Block Development Office in Thogamalai and the Government Multipurpose Industrial Training Institute in Kaniyalampatti.
Dr. Shankar stated that preparations had been made for students to be guided on smart preparation between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Mock exams would be given using OMR sheets. On Saturdays and Sundays, specialists would teach sessions through the Zoom platform.
All of the district's libraries might be used to provide books and study materials to applicants. For enrollment, interested individuals should call 04324263550. The centers would go into service on March 23.
