AIQ and State-Level Seats: What's the Difference?

MCC manages counselling for 15% All India Quota seats in government medical and dental colleges. Additionally, it handles central universities, deemed universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, and ESIC medical institutions.

The remaining 85% seats fall under the State Quota, and are filled by respective state counselling authorities based on NEET UG 2025 scores. Several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Punjab, Jharkhand, and Jammu & Kashmir, have already started their counselling registration processes.
