The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the provisional answer key for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 today, June 3. The provisional answer key includes correct answers to all the questions asked in the entrance examination. Candidates can use it to estimate their scores and assess their performance before the declaration of the final result.
Along with the answer key, NTA has also uploaded the OMR sheets and recorded responses of the candidates. These are now available on the official website — neet.nta.nic.in. Through a post on their official X handle, NTA informed students: “Attention NEET (UG) 2025 Candidates! Provisional Answer Key, OMR Sheet & Recorded Responses are now live. Please login to view.”
Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answers can raise objections against them. The window for raising objections is open until 11:50 PM on June 5, 2025. To challenge any answer or recorded response, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. Only those challenges submitted with the required processing fee will be considered. The challenges must be submitted through the official website only, as no other mode of submission will be accepted.
All objections submitted will be reviewed by a panel of subject matter experts. Based on their recommendations, NTA will release the final answer key. However, candidates will not be individually informed whether their challenge has been accepted or rejected. They are advised to check the final answer key to see if any changes have been made or if any questions have been dropped.
The NEET UG 2025 exam was conducted on May 4 across the country, with more than 22 lakh students appearing for the test in three shifts. The exam was held for admissions into undergraduate medical and allied health science courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, and BSMS.
