Sunil Khairnar, Founder and Advisor, Indigram Labs Foundation visited Krishi Jagran's office in New Delhi on January 30, 2025. During their visit, he emphasised the importance of encouraging the children of farmers to establish businesses at the village and district levels to boost the agricultural sector's income, while also highlighting the ‘Enterprise for Impact’ model to support rural entrepreneurship and empower agri-startups at the KJ Chaupal.
Indigram Labs Foundation is committed to fostering creativity and innovation across various sectors, including agriculture, food, clean energy, and climate change. The foundation aims to inspire entrepreneurial passion in youth, encouraging self-sustainability and the integration of digital technologies.
During his address, Khairnar emphasized the need to encourage the children of farmers to establish businesses at the village and district levels. This, he believes, is a long-term solution to addressing the low-income levels in the agriculture sector. If the children of farmers set up enterprises, these businesses would be involved in both the input and output supply chains. To support this vision, ISAP India Foundation has developed the ‘Enterprise for Impact’ model and established an incubator named Indigram Labs Foundation, which works to facilitate and empower agri-startups.
Khairnar also shared his vision for COFE (Children of Farmer Entrepreneurs), a program designed to support and empower the children of farmers by cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset in agribusiness. His goal is to promote rural entrepreneurship and provide young individuals with the skills and resources needed to drive innovation and foster growth within their communities.
The insightful event concluded with a vote of thanks followed by a group photograph to capture the memorable moment.
