Manage Your Time Wisely: You get a composite time of 2 hours i.e 120 minutes to solve 7 sections, having a total of 200 questions. This means you are left with just a little over 30 seconds per question. Do not spend your precious time on the questions that you are not sure about.
Another important strategy for time management during the exam is to decide the “Order of Attempt” beforehand. This order should be based on the difficulty level of different sections and their weightage. Also, try to alternate easy & difficult sections. It helps to not let the pressure build on the students while taking the exam.
Attempt carefully: There is a negative marking of 0.25 Marks for every wrongly answered question. This is another reason why you should choose the questions, you attempt wisely. You should solve the previous years' questions. It will give you a fair idea about the difficulty level and what kind of questions to expect in the exam.
Proper Revision: It is advisable to not spend your time preparing for new topics at the last moment, as it creates confusion in our minds. Always revise the topics that you have a stronghold on. Take the help of self-made notes for revision. The revision must include the whole syllabus but in a concise manner, most importantly, formulas and shortcuts.
Take Adequate Rest, the night before the exam: Taking a good night's sleep before the exam is very important as it helps relax your mind and allows your brain to function more efficiently.
Lastly, Be Confident: Visit the center of examination one day in advance and calculate the time required to avoid a last-minute panic situation in any undesirable case.
