During the inauguration, Prime Minister will also release a commemorative coin and postage stamp issued by the Government of India in honour of the pioneering scientist.
Themed “Evergreen Revolution – The Pathway to Bio happiness”, the conference aims to carry forward Prof. Swaminathan’s mission of sustainable agriculture and inclusive food security. It also seeks to frame a future roadmap for Indian agriculture with a special emphasis on enhancing women's participation in the sector.
