The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) officially announced the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results for the academic year 2024-25 on May 6. Students who appeared for the exams can now check their results on the official websites — mpbse.nic.in, mpresults.nic.in, and mpbse.mponline.gov.in.

This year, the board has witnessed a remarkable increase in pass percentages for both classes, with female students once again outperforming their male counterparts. The results brought joy and relief to lakhs of students across the state who had been eagerly waiting for their scorecards.

Class 10 Result Highlights

In Class 10, the overall pass percentage stood at 76.22%, showing a clear improvement compared to last year. This reflects the consistent efforts made by students, teachers, and educational institutions despite challenges such as syllabus updates and academic pressure.

The topper for Class 10, Pragya Jaiswal from Singrauli district, achieved a historic milestone by securing a perfect score of 500 out of 500. Her outstanding performance has drawn attention to the rising academic standards in smaller towns of Madhya Pradesh.

Among boys, Aryan Singh from Indore secured the second position with 496 marks, followed by Ankit Mishra with 495 marks. The top 10 list included students from a diverse range of districts, indicating a balanced performance across the state.

Class 12 Result Highlights

The Class 12 results also saw a substantial increase in the pass rate, which rose to 74.48% in 2025. This improvement is being attributed to better exam preparation methods, increased digital learning access, and enhanced support from schools and faculty.

Priyal Dwivedi from Satna emerged as the Class 12 topper by scoring 492 out of 500, with an impressive percentage of 98.4%. She secured the top spot among more than 6 lakh students who appeared for the examination. Her success has inspired students across Madhya Pradesh to pursue academic excellence.

In the second position was Manish Tiwari from Gwalior, with a total of 489 marks. The third position was shared by two students, each scoring 488 marks. The performance of students from rural and semi-urban areas in this year's results has been particularly notable.

District-Wise Performance

Narsinghpur district topped the list in overall performance, with the highest pass percentages in both Class 10 and 12 exams. The district has been consistently performing well due to focused efforts by school authorities and active parental involvement.

Other high-performing districts included Satna, Indore, and Ujjain, which saw a large number of students scoring above 90%. On the other hand, some districts like Bhind and Morena recorded comparatively lower pass percentages, pointing toward a need for additional academic support in those regions.

How to Check MP Board Results 2025

Students can follow these steps to access their results online:

Step 1: Visit the official websites mpbse.nic.in, mpresults.nic.in, or mpbse.mponline.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the respective link for Class 10 or Class 12 results.

Step 3: Enter your roll number and application number as mentioned on your admit card.

Step 4: Submit the details to view your result.

Step 5: Download and print the result for future reference.

For students with limited internet access, results can also be checked via SMS. Students need to type MPBSE10 or MPBSE12 followed by their roll number and send it to 56263. The result will be delivered via text message.

Re-evaluation and Supplementary Exams

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation or rechecking of answer sheets. The board is expected to open the re-evaluation window shortly after the declaration of results. Detailed guidelines and application procedures will be available on the MPBSE website.

For those who have failed to secure the minimum passing marks, the board will conduct supplementary or compartment exams. Dates and instructions for the same will be released soon. The ‘Ruk Jana Nahi’ scheme also offers a second chance for students to reappear and improve their performance.
