Mother Dairy Hikes Milk Prices; Consumers to Pay Rs 2 More Per Litre Starting April 30 – See Full List Here

There’s an important update for milk consumers! Starting Wednesday, April 30, 2025, you will have to pay a bit more for your daily milk supply. Mother Dairy has announced a price hike of up to Rs 2 per litre for its liquid milk across Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Uttarakhand.

The company stated that this decision was made in response to a consistent rise in procurement costs, which have surged by Rs 4 to Rs 5 per litre over the last few months. This increase in costs is attributed to the early onset of summer and intense heatwave conditions, which have directly impacted milk production and supply chain expenses.

The revised prices represent a partial adjustment of the increased input costs to consumers. According to the new pricing, Bulk Vended Milk (Toned Milk) will now cost Rs 56 per litre, up from Rs 54.

The price for a 500 ml pack of Premium Full Cream Milk (Ultra) will increase from Rs 38 to Rs 39, and the 1000 ml pack will increase from Rs 68 to Rs 69.

Regular Full Cream Milk in a 500 ml pack will go up from Rs 34 to Rs 35. Toned Milk is now priced at Rs 57 per litre, an increase from Rs 56, with its 500 ml variant costing Rs 29 instead of Rs 28.

Double Toned Milk (Live Lite) will be priced at Rs 50 per litre and Rs 26 for the 500 ml pack, reflecting a Rs 1 increase for each. Cow Milk will also see a price revision, rising from Rs 57 to Rs 59 per litre and from Rs 29 to Rs 30 for the 500 ml pack.

Mother Dairy emphasized that this revision is crucial to ensure the steady supply of quality milk while also protecting the interests of dairy farmers. A spokesperson for the company stated that the price hike is a modest adjustment aimed at balancing the needs of both consumers and milk producers.
