Southwest Monsoon 2020 has covered Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Gujarat in the last two weeks. Now the monsoon is likely to slow down for a week due to as the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal that supported its advance has weakened, said the Indian Meteorological Department.

The temperature rose by 1C to 3C in many places of Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, and by 3C to 5C over Jharkhand, west Rajasthan, West Bengal, west Madhya Pradesh, and Kerala.
