MoFPI Invites Applications for Financial Assistance to Set Up Food Processing Units

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries invites proposals for setting up food processing units under the CEFPPC scheme. Applications are online, with a deadline of March 28, 2025. Demand Draft submission required.

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India, has invited proposals from entrepreneurs for setting up food processing units outside Mega Food Parks and outside Agro Processing Clusters under scheme for Creation/Expansion of Food Processing & Preservation Capacities (CEFPPC) of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana. The initiative aims to promote food processing outside Mega Food Parks and Agro Processing Clusters.

As per the official notification, applications must be submitted online through the portal https://www.sampada-mofpi.gov.in/, and no physical submissions will be entertained. The scheme is primarily for the General category, though applications from SC/ST categories and the North Eastern region will be considered under the same criteria.

Key Details:

  • Deadline for Applications: March 28, 2025, by 17:00 hrs

  • Mode of Submission: Online only

  • Mandatory Demand Draft Submission: A non-refundable fee via Demand Draft in favor of “Pay & Accounts Officer, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, New Delhi.” A scanned copy must be attached online, and the original should be sent within one week after the deadline.

  • Pre-Bid Meeting: Scheduled for February 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Room No. 120, Panchsheel Bhawan, New Delhi.

Interested applicants can access the submission link from January 28, 2025, until the closing date. The initiative aligns with the government's vision of boosting food processing infrastructure and increasing value addition in the agricultural sector.
