In mid-December, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Gorakhpur branch of AIIMS. According to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, an All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)would open in Gorakhpur in December, along with a fertilizer factory that has been inactive since 1990.
"The AIIMS in Gorakhpur will be inaugurated next month," Yogi Adityanath said. There has been a desire for the establishment of an AIIMS in Gorakhpur since 2004."
He also stated that the fertilizer factory, which has been shut down since 1990, will reopen next month. Both facilities will be dedicated to the public by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the state's healthcare sector has seen a massive makeover under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
Since independence, the state has only had 12 medical colleges, but the government is now building 33 new medical institutions.
Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate his dream project Shrikashi Vishwanath Dham, after which every household in Varanasi will receive prasad and a book on the project.
In addition, on both days of his visit, a program called "Bhavya Kashi Divya Kashi" would be conducted.
During the 2017 election, Prime Minister Modi stayed in Varanasi for three days and attended several events. He'll be attending more than a dozen events during his visit this time as well.
He'll speak with all chief ministers in BJP-ruled states, as well as over 200 mayors, for a conversation. During the inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, the Prime Minister is expected to address a public meeting.
He could also pay a visit to Sewapuri, the country's first model hamlet. PM Modi will also engage with farmers to discuss "zero budget" farming and visit a newly constructed biogas plant in Shahanshahpur.
