Eligibility Criteria of Ministry of Power Recruitment 2022

No person shall be eligible for appointment to the office of Member unless he or she has held on a regular basis for at least 05 years the post of Chief Engineer or equivalent in the Level-14 pay matrix (Rs.144200-218200) or higher post/Level in the pay matrix under the Central Government or a State Government OR

On a regular basis for at least 05 years, a post equivalent to that mentioned in clause (a) above in a State Electricity Board, a semi-government organization, a Public Sector Undertaking, an Autonomous Body or a Statutory Body, a University, an Indian Institute of Technology, or an Indian Institute of Management;

Experience: A minimum of three years' field experience in the relevant field, as defined in Section 70 of the Electricity Act, 2003, sub-section (5).

Member (Power Systems) in Level-15 in the pay matrix (Rs 1,82,200 to Rs 2,24,100) with ex-officio status of the Additional Secretary the Government of India.
Selection Process of the Ministry of Power Recruitment Drive
An appointment shall be on short term/deputation contract basis of 5 years subject to the condition that services shall not be extended to beyond the date of superannuation.
