For the year 2022-23, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) is accepting applications for the Department of Economic Affairs Internship Scheme. The Internship Scheme is open to Ph.D. or Post-Graduate students working on issues such as microeconomic management, economic reforms, capital markets, exchange management, foreign investment in India and Indian investment abroad, monetary policy, fiscal policy, inflation management, debt market operation and debt management, small savings, and so on.
Candidates must register for the Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2022 by submitting their applications online by June 16, 2022.
Duration of Internship:
The internship could last anywhere from three to six months. Interns will be expected to conduct a thorough investigation in order to produce desirable results in a short period of time.

Eligibility Requirements:
Outstanding applicants pursuing a postgraduate degree or a doctorate in economics, law, finance, or management from universities/institutions ranked in the top 25 by the MHRD's National Institutional Ranking Framework.
Remuneration:
For PG students, the token remuneration is Rs 10,000 per month per intern, and for Ph.D. students, the token remuneration is Rs 20,000 per month per intern.
Certificate of Internship:
Interns will receive certificates after completing their internship in fewer than three months and submitting their report/paper/feedback/attendance certificate, which must be duly certified by the Divisional Head.
