The Ministry of Finance is accepting applications for 15 three- to six-month internship positions at the Department of Economic Affairs. Ph.D. and postgraduate students focusing on microeconomic management, economic reforms, capital markets, exchange management, foreign investment in India and Indian investment abroad, monetary policy, and other topics are eligible for the position.
The application window for this opportunity is now open, and the deadline to apply is June 16.
Stipend:
After submitting a report, a paper, or feedback, post-graduate students will earn a token remuneration of Rs 10,000 per month, while Ph.D. students would receive a remuneration of Rs 20,000 per month upon completion of their internship.
Out of the ten unpaid interns who were not chosen for the paid internship, the ministry will hire ten more.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates pursuing a post-graduate degree (session 2021-23) or a Ph.D. in economics/law/finance/management from one of the top 25 universities/institutions in the country, according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework.
Certificate of Internship:
Interns will get their certificate after completing a three-month internship and submitting a report, paper, feedback, or attendance certificate that has been duly certified by the divisional head.
