Ministry of Agriculture Recruitment 2022: the Directorate of Extension, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is looking for candidates for some fresh positions. Those interested must go through the details given below and apply accordingly.

The composite method will be used to fill the position of Assistant Director (OL) in the Directorate of Extension, Department of Agriculture, and Farmers Welfare.  One Assistant Director (OL) position with a salary range of Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) Plus General, Rs.54O0/- (Level 1O in the Pay Matrix, as suggested by the 7th CPC), Group'A; Central Service, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial at Pusa's Directorate of Extension.

Qualification and Experience Needed

The position is to be filled using the Composite method (Deputation plus promotion) from amongst the officers from the Central or State Governments or Union territories. The educational qualifications and experience needed for the job position are as follows:

holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or,

With three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto regularly in posts in Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) +- Grade Pay Rs. -46001 (Level 7 in Pay Matrix recommended by 7th CPC); and

Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: -

Essential; Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

OR

Master's degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;

OR

Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR

Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of an examination at the degree level

OR

Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as a medium of an examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level; and

Three years of experience in using or applying terminology (terminological works) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa, preferably of technical or scientific literature under Central or State Governments or autonomous bodies or Statutory organizations or public sector undertakings or universities or recognized research of educational institutions.

Salary Range: Salary range of Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) Plus General, Rs.54O0/- (Level 1O in the Pay Matrix, as suggested by the 7th CPC)

  • integrity Certificate signed by an officer, not below the rank of Deputy Secretary/Director to the Government of India

  • Major/Minor Penalty Statement during the last ten years

  • Photocopies of ACis/APARs of the last five years i.e., from 2016-17-2020-21 duly attested on each page by an officer, not below the rank of an Under Secretary to the Government of India. if for some reasons, the ACRS/APARs of the officer have not been written for a particular year or a part of a year, a 'No Report Certificate' (NRC) for the period may be sent along with the ACRS/APARS of the corresponding previous Year

  • Self-attested photocopies of the Degree Certificates, experience certificates, or any other document in support of educational qualification/details/information as mentioned in the Bio-Data of the applicant.

  • Applications received after the last date or without documents or otherwise found incomplete, will not be considered.
