On August 29, 2024, Krishi Jagran hosted the 'MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav' at the Bhairavnath Saanskritik Bhawan, Satara Maharashtra. Sponsored by Mahindra Tractors, powered by Dhanuka Agritech Ltd, with ICAR- Indian Council of Agricultural Research as esteemed knowledge partner, this event marks a significant step towards empowering our farmers. KVK- Satara provided their support during the event. Farmers from across the various places of Maharashtra gathered and gained valuable insights into various innovative farming solutions and the latest agricultural equipment.
The day commenced with participant registration. Dr. Mahesh Babar (Program Coordinator, KVK - Borgaon), Sangram S. Patil (Program Assistant), Bhushan Yogirwar (SMS, Horticulture), Sagar Sakate (SMS, ASDS), Dr. Kalyan Barbar (SMS, FPT), Dr. Swati Gurve, SMS (Plant Protection), Dr. Suresh Mane (Retired Scientist, VSI, Pune), Dr. Suraj Nalawade (Assistant Professor, CSRS, Padegaon), Umesh Patil (ASM, Dhanuka) and Ramdas Vlake (Regional Manager, Mahindra Tractor) were present in this one-day event.
Experts shared valuable insights on boosting farm income and celebrated the progressive farmers of the region. The event brought together experts and farmers for insightful discussions on Disease & Pest Management in Sugarcane, Innovations in the Tractor Industry, Tractor Management, and Millet Farming.
Following the presentations, certificates were distributed to number of progressive farmers, acknowledging their achievements and contributions. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a successful day dedicated to empowering the farming community and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
