
Krishi Jagran successfully hosted the ‘Samridh Kisan Utsav’ on February 27, 2025, at Shri Babir Vidyalay, Rui, Indapur, Pune, Maharashtra, with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) as a co-organizer. The event, themed ‘Samridh Kisan – Samridh Bharat,’ aimed to empower farmers by providing them with knowledge on modern agricultural practices and technological advancements. Sponsored by Mahindra Tractors and powered by Avaada and Zydex, the event was supported by Indo-American Hybrid Seeds (India) Pvt. Ltd., Somani Seedz, KVK Baramati, Goel Vet Pharma (GVP) Pvt. Ltd., and Indapur Agro, with ‘Krishi Viman’ as the drone partner.

Bringing together over 500 farmers from multiple districts, alongside agricultural experts and industry pioneers, the Utsav emerged as a crucial knowledge-sharing platform. Farmers had the opportunity to engage with experts, discover cutting-edge agricultural innovations, and participate in workshops that emphasized modern and sustainable farming techniques. The event commenced with a registration process, followed by insightful sessions on various crucial topics, including organic farming practices and advancements in tractor technology.
A distinguished panel of guests graced the occasion, including Sunanda Tai Pawar from the Agricultural Development Trust, Baramati; Ramdas Ukale, Zonal Marketing Manager at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.; Ajay Patil, Assistant Vice President, and Dushyant Tomar, Project Engineer from Avaada Group; Yogesh Ingawle, General Manager at Zydex; Namdev Yele, AMM at Indo-American; Dr. Santosh Godse, SMS (Extension) from KVK Baramati; and Rushikesh Kalange from Krishi Jagran & MFOI.
