On July 19, 2024, Krishi Jagran hosted the 'MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav' at Malda Krishi Vigyan Kendra, West Bengal. Sponsored by Mahindra Tractors, supported by Everest and Somani Kanak Seedz Pvt Ltd., with ICAR- Indian Council of Agricultural Research as esteemed knowledge partner, this event marks a significant step towards empowering farmers. Krishi Vigyan Kendra – Malda provided their invaluable support to the event. Farmers from Malda and surrounding regions gathered and gained valuable insights into various innovative farming solutions and the latest agricultural equipment.
The day commenced with participant registration. Dr Rakesh Roy, Sr. Scientist & Head, Malda KVK, Bhabani, SMS (Agronomy), Dr Dushyant Kumar Raghav, Mihir Ali, Mithu Chaudhary, Dr Adwaita Mondal, SMS, Sanjay Kumar and representatives of Mahindra Tractors, Everest, Somani Seedz attended the event as guests. Experts shared valuable insights on Disease & Pest Management in Paddy Crop, Innovation in Tractor Industry, and Tractor Management.
Following the presentations, certificates were distributed to number of progressive farmers, acknowledging their achievements and contributions. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a successful day dedicated to empowering the farming community and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
