McDonald’s India (West and South) has announced two new additions, Turmeric Latte and Masala Kadak chai has been added to the McCafe menu. Mac Donald’s Spokesperson reiterates the fact that this has been in their minds for a long time and has become very important in the pandemic times.
The benefits of turmeric cannot be ignored. It is an important spice that has the power to lessen inflammation in the body, improve digestion, fight infections and detoxify one’s body. There are other immunity-improving ingredients like cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, pepper and saffron which are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties included in The Turmeric Latte. Turmeric Latte is the westernized name for Haldi Doodh’ – which is used to combat cold, cough, congestion, and many more ailments.
The ingredients in the Kadak Masala Chai would be pepper, cardamom and ginger which also has the ability to fight infections and reduce inflammation and provide antioxidant radicals to the body. The Masala Kadak Chai aka The Indian Masala Latte is power packed with traditional herbs and spices to comfort the Indian consumers.
