Exam Overview and Important Dates
The MBOSE Class 12 board exams were conducted between February 18 and March 19, 2025. Practical examinations were held earlier from February 4 to February 14. A few exam dates were revised due to administrative reasons; for example, the Physics paper was rescheduled and conducted on March 6 instead of February 24.
Students were evaluated on the basis of written papers, practical assessments, and internal marks assigned by schools. The minimum passing mark in each subject is 33%.
While the results available online are provisional, students must collect their official mark sheets and certificates from their respective schools. These documents are essential for future academic applications and should be preserved carefully.
There will be no physical display of results at the MBOSE offices in Tura or Shillong this year. All information must be accessed digitally or through school authorities.
Students who have not secured passing marks in one or more subjects will be eligible to appear for supplementary or compartmental exams. The schedule for these examinations will be released soon by MBOSE.
Students who believe there may have been an error in the evaluation of their answer sheets can apply for rechecking or revaluation. Applications for revaluation will be accepted only through school authorities once the official circular is published by the board.
What Next After Result Declaration
Students should carefully review their scorecards and consult school teachers or counselors for further guidance regarding college admissions or professional courses. Those aiming to pursue higher studies outside the state must ensure that their certificates are properly attested and preserved.
Parents and guardians are advised to support their children in this transitional phase and help them make informed decisions about future career paths.
The MBOSE HSSLC Result 2025 marks the culmination of months of academic effort for students across Meghalaya. With the results now available online, students can plan their next steps be it admission to undergraduate programs, vocational training, or other career opportunities. The Meghalaya Board has streamlined the result-checking process to ensure easy access for students across the state, promoting a smooth transition into their next academic chapter.
