Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with 4 individuals featured on his Mann Ki Baat broadcast for their inspiring initiatives and encouraged others to take inspiration and make a positive impact in society.

1. Vijayashanti Devi:

Vijayashanti Devi from Manipur has gained recognition for her innovative and environmentally sustainable concept of producing garments from lotus fibers. Her idea was previously highlighted on the show 'Mann Ki Baat.' With a team of approximately 30 women, Vijayashanti aims to hire an additional 70 women this year. Her ultimate goal is to expand the reach of her products globally.

2. Manzoor Ahmed:

A manufacturing unit for pencils is operated by Manzoor Ahmed in a village located in Jammu and Kashmir. The unit has provided employment opportunities to more than 200 individuals. Oukhoo, situated in the Pulwama district, is now recognized as the "pencil village of India." The Prime Minister acknowledged the village's role in promoting education in India through pencil production.

3. Sunil Jaglan:

The brain behind the 'Selfie With Daughter' movement is Sunil Jaglan. He initiated the campaign in June 2015 from his village and subsequently established a dedicated website for the project, which enabled individuals to upload selfies with their daughters.

4. Pradeep Sangwan:

The 'Healing Himalayas' campaign, led by Pradeep Sangwan, aims to maintain cleanliness in the rural Himalayan region through various activities such as clean-up drives and waste management. Sangwan and his team work tirelessly every day to collect five tons of garbage from various locations.

‘Mann Ki Baat’ aims to showcase the actions taken by both the government and citizens in key areas of importance. The program also motivates listeners to engage in initiatives that can bring about positive and enduring change in the lives of people and the nation.
