Founder and Editor in Chief of Krishi Jagran and Agriculture World and Director of AJAI, M C Dominic introduced Mamta Jain to the team today with a speech. He reminisced about the year-old friendship with Jain and said her presence in the KJ family will bring a good start to several projects. He said, “On behalf of the whole team, I welcome Mamta Jain to Krishi Jagran. I am sure she will bring her expertise and years of experience in the agriculture field to take the organization to newer heights.”
Speaking about her role at Krishi Jagran, Mamta Jain said, “I have joined Krishi Jagran today as the Group Editor and Head Strategic Alliances. I will take care of the events and alliances with government and non-government organizations that Krishi Jagran is planning in the near future. I have been associated with agriculture journalism for the past 6 years and my objective to join Krishi Jagran is to deepen my knowledge by directly getting involved with the farmers and agricultural stakeholders to bridge the gaps between farmers and policymakers.”
In her welcome address, Jain added that she feels rejuvenated and inspired to bring new ideas when working with the young and dynamic team, and so she is looking forward to working with the Krishi Jagran team.
Mamta Jain has a strong foothold in the agriculture sector with her experience as CEO & Editor in Chief of Agriculture Today. She has previously acted as the Director of the Indian Council of Food and Agriculture for 6 years. She is an expert in corporate communications with strong analytical skills. She finished her B Tech in Agriculture (Irrigation & Farm Machinery) from Allahabad Agricultural Institute in 1992.
