If you use LPG cylinders, then this news is especially for you. The government is trying to get the increasing LPG prices under control. For this, the government is considering to restore the subsidy on LPG cylinders again. A proposal in this regard has been sent to the Finance Ministry.
The subsidy on LPG is being given in the states of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Northeast.
Note: No confirmation from the government’s end has been issued regarding the restoration of LPG Subsidy yet!
But in order to be able to receive this money, you must link your LPG connection with Aadhaar (LPG- Aadhaar Linking). If you have not linked your LPG with Aadhar card, then get it done immediately! Otherwise, you will not get the subsidy money.
How to link LPG Connection with Adhaar Card?

Visit the home page of UIDAI website.

Select the benefit type which you want to avail. Enter the name of the scheme of your LPG connection. The customers with Indane connections should select IOCL while Bharat Gas connections should select BPCL.

Select the name of your distributor from the given list. Then enter your LPG consumer number.

Enter the required details such as mobile number; email address, Aadhaar number etc. Then click on the Submit button.

After you click the Submit button an OTP will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and submit.

Who are eligible for getting LPG Subsidy?
People whose annual income is Rs 10 lakh or more are not eligible for subsidy. This annual income of Rs 10 lakh is combined income of both husband and wife. Also, the LPG Subsidy varies in different states.
