On Friday, July 1, the cost of cooking gas cylinders was decreased. On July 1, prices for Indane gas cylinders decreased by ₹198 in the capital city of Delhi. In Kolkata, the cost of an LPG cylinder has decreased by ₹182, in Mumbai, by ₹190.50, and in Chennai, by ₹187. According to reports, the petroleum company Indian Oil has lowered its prices for commercial cylinders.
Whereas domestic LPG cylinder consumers have continued to face the brunt of high prices. Domestic 14.2 kg cylinders have neither become cheap nor expensive. It's still offered at the same price as it was on May 19.
