However, the solution to this problem is very easy. The government has arranged that people can check from their mobiles at home whether the subsidy amount has been deposited in their account or not, and how much money has been deposited.
How to Check whether you are getting gas Subsidy
Follow these steps to know the status of LPG subsidy;
First go to the Mylpg.in website. Here the tabs with the logos of the three petroleum companies (HP, Bharat and Indane) will appear. Click on your cylinder company.
A new page will open, on which go to the bar menu and enter your 17-digit LPG ID. If the LPG ID is not known, it can be detected by clicking 'Click here to know your LPG ID' by completing the steps mentioned there.
Enter your registered mobile number, LPG consumer ID, state name, distributor information here. After entering the captcha code click on the process button. Your LPG ID should be visible on the new page that opens. Seen showing your account details on a pop-up. It will be mentioned here whether your bank account and Aadhaar are linked to your LPG account. Also, you will get information whether you have given up the subsidy option or not.
Click 'View Cylinder Booking History / Subsidy Transfer' on the left side of the page. Here you will be able to see the subsidy amount. Here, the amount of subsidy deposited in your account will also appear in the cylinders called in the previous months and their charges.
Thus, there is no need to bother or go to the bank to find out whether the LPG subsidy is deposited in the bank account. You can find it sitting at home from your mobile. Keep in mind, once you complete the login process, it becomes easier to trace the subsidy next time.
