In Delhi, the cost of a 19-kilogramme commercial LPG cylinder has been down by Rs 198 as of today. Now, the price is Rs 2,021. It was formerly priced at Rs 2,219. This price reduction is the second in a month. The cost of a commercial cylinder was reduced by Rs 135 as of June 1. However, the cost of a 14.2 kg household cooking cylinder is still the same.
Oil Marketing Companies said on Friday, July 1, 2022, that they would be lowering the cost of the 19-kilogramme commercial cylinder, which will be a big relief to consumers. The cost of a 19 kg commercial cylinder has been reduced by around Rs 200 by OMCs.
The 19-kilogramme commercial cylinder will cost Rs 198 less each bottle from today. A 19-kilogramme commercial cylinder will now cost Rs 2021 instead of the previous Rs 2,219 per bottle in Delhi, Rs 2140 instead of the previous Rs 2,322 in Kolkata, Rs 1981 instead of the previous Rs 2,171.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 2186 instead of the previous Rs 2,373 in Chennai.
On May 19, the cost of LPG cylinders for both household and commercial use increased nationwide. The cost of cooking had increased for the second time in a month at this point.
The price of a home 14-kilogramme cylinder was increased by Rs 3.50, while the price of a commercial 19 kg cylinder was raised by Rs 8 per cylinder.
