Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has invited eligible applicants to fill up the Apprentice Development Officer (ADO) positions in the jurisdiction of the different Divisional Offices under Western Zonal Office, Mumbai. Those who want to apply for the post will have to visit the official site of LIC - licindia.in.
A total number of 1753 posts will be hired through this recruitment drive. The online process of LIC ADO Recruitment 2019 will begin from today, 20 May and continue till 9 June 2019. Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Online Exam (Prelims) and (Main), which is scheduled to be held on 6 & 13 July 2019. The main exam will be held on 10 August 2019. LIC ADO Exam Admit Card will be available from 29 June.

Eligibility Criteria for LIC ADO Posts
Age Limit:
The candidate must have completed 21 years of age and they should not exceed more than 30 years of age.
Educational Qualification:
For Employees category & Agents category in Urban & Rural area - Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India founded under a statute / approved for the purpose or Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.
Applicants from Others category in Urban and Rural area should have Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India formed under a statute / approved for the purpose or Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.
Required Experience:
Preference will be given to applicants who have at least two years experience in life insurance industry.
Selection Process for LIC ADO Posts:
Selection will be done on the basis of 2 phase exams - Preliminary Exam and Main Exam followed by a personal Interview. Candidate has to qualify prelims to appear the main exam. And based on marks obtained in Main Exam plus Interview, a final merit list of candidates will be made.

Pay Scale of LIC ADO:
During the apprentice/training period, candidates will be paid a fixed amount of Rs. 34,503/- stipend every month as per rules of the company.
On appointment as a Probationary Development Officer, they will get basic pay of Rs. 21,865/- per month in the scale of 21865-1340 (2)-24545-1580(2)-27705-1610(17)- 55075 & other admissible allowances as per rules shall be payable.
