
On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred a total of Rs 1552.38 crore to the bank accounts of over 1.27 crore women beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana, Social Security Pension Yojana, and LPG Cylinder Refilling Scheme.
The transfer was made during a program held in Tikarwara village of Mandla district, where the Chief Minister also addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of the scheme for women’s empowerment. This financial aid marks the 23rd installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana, with each eligible woman receiving Rs 1250.
The Ladli Behna Yojana is a flagship initiative of the Madhya Pradesh government, aimed at promoting the economic independence, health, and nutritional well-being of women. It empowers women by strengthening their role in family and societal decision-making. Since its inception, the state government has disbursed over Rs 35,000 crore as honorarium to the beneficiaries, commonly referred to as "Ladli sisters."
Minister Yadav highlighted that the Ladli Behna Yojana is a key initiative by the state government to promote economic self-reliance, improve health, and ensure better nutritional status for women. The program strengthens the role of women in both their families and society by giving them financial independence. The Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation for several development projects in the region as part of the event.
How to Check Ladli Behna Yojana Payment Status
Women who are enrolled in the scheme can easily check whether the installment has been credited to their account by following these steps:

Visit the official website: cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in

Click on the “Application and Payment Status” on the homepage.

Log in using your Ladli Behna application number or Samagra member number.

Enter the Captcha code and request OTP on your registered mobile number.

Enter the OTP and click on “Search.”

Your application and payment status will be displayed on the screen.
Under this scheme, married women between the ages of 21 and 60 who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh are eligible. This includes widows, divorced, and abandoned women as well. The scheme ensures regular monthly financial assistance, helping beneficiaries manage household expenses and gain financial stability.
